How long is a lesson?
Approximately 45 minutes
Alexander Technique Lessons center on two primary activities. One is working with the ever-changing relationship of the head-spine-pelvis as you move from standing to sitting to squatting. The second involves working with the musculoskeletal and nervous system while you lie semi-supine on a massage table.
How many do I need?
In the beginning, regularity is desireable. We suggest a minimum of three lessons to gauge whether you connect with the work. After that, two lessons for the first few weeks will build a strong foundation, tapering back to once per week, and eventually allowing your interest to lead you. Historically, 30 lessons has been the benchmark.
How much does it cost?
$70 per lesson | $600 for 10 lessons

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that won't feel restrictive as you move through various ranges of motion. Please refrain from wearing fragrance.
